WHO WE ARE

Hanveev has the flock of world's best skilled handloom weavers and an extremely rich heritage of handloom products. Few decades ago, Hanveev had the most diverse cotton varieties, which spread the legacy of Kerala Hand weaving in nooks and corners of the world. Despite such obvious and impressive strengths, Hanveev has not been able to ensure sustainable and satisfactory livelihoods for handloom weavers as they deserved. The grim reality today is that an overwhelming majority of handloom weavers are living in poverty, while many others have left the weaving profession and resorted to some other employment.

In order to regain the lost prominence of Hanveev in the world of fabrics, we as a team emerged with innovative ideas, method, vision and determination. The present Government in Kerala augmented our commitment by extending various supporting measures to the handloom industry from all dimensions. Handloom being the most eco friendly weave in the world has a lot to contribute for the sustainability of our healthy ecosystem.
